Bitcoin rose more than 1% Monday to eclipse $17,200, its first time retaking $17,000 since mid-December. The world’s largest cryptocurrency is up more than 3.2% over the past week after falling from $21,000 following the FTX collapse in early November.
Ethereum jumped nearly 4% on Monday to trade above $1,310 for the first time since Dec. 14. The #2 crypto is up roughly 10% this week but still well below its $1,650 level prior to the FTX crash.
